Munis Tyler Dashboard - Connecting from Home


If you need to access Munis Tyler Dashboard from home or outside of the City's network, you can! 

First, disconnect from the City's network and make sure you have access to the internet.

Next, enable Pop-ups for

First, ensure that pop-ups are enabled in the browser for  To do this, click on the cogwheel in the upper-right corner of the browser window and select Internet Options.


Next, click the Privacy tab and the Settings button under the Pop-up blocker section. 


Type in the Address of website to allow field and click Add.  You will see this site in the Allowed Sites box.  Click Close. 


Click OK to close the Internet Options Window. 



Log in and Install Adapter

Open Internet Explorer and go to (Google Chrome is NOT compatible with this, we suggest Internet Explorer).

Once you arrive at the site, you will see a login screen where you can sign in with your Munis username and password. If you are doing this for the first time, you will be prompted to download the "Network access client components" select download and save then right-click on it and run as administrator. After it installs, you can "click here".



This screen may pop up several times asking for your permission for this app to make changes to your device.  Click Yes each time this window appears. 


Once it completes the install, it will connect.  You will see the message "Connecting" and then "Connected" once you are officially connected.  This window cannot be closed or the connection will be lost.  Just minimize this window while working in Munis.  



Once you are connected, click Saas Dashboard under Application Links.  This will take you to the Munis login screen.
